Editorial Policy

Who writes this site
Rupee Rubric is published by a small independent editorial desk. We don't put personal bylines on articles, because the accuracy of a calculation doesn't depend on whose name sits above it — and we'd rather be judged on whether the numbers are right. What we do commit to is being explicit about how the content is made, which is what the rest of this page covers.
How articles are produced
Articles are written with AI assistance and published on a schedule, with automated checks at publication and editorial review afterwards rather than before. Topics are chosen from what readers actually search for.
Calculators work differently. Every number they produce comes from a formula documented on our methodology page, implemented in code you can read in the page source. No model is involved in the arithmetic.
What we base articles on
- SEBI regulations and AMFI guidelines
- Income Tax Department provisions and current slabs
- RBI circulars for banking and lending topics
- EPFO and NPS Trust for retirement schemes
- Published rates from major Indian banks and fund houses
We don't publish stock tips, "hot picks", or performance rankings.
Accuracy standards
Numbers must be either sourced or calculated. Where we use illustrative figures — "if you invest ₹10,000/month at 12%" — we say so explicitly rather than presenting them as predictions.
Indian tax rules and product terms change often. Articles that have been revised show a Last reviewed date near the top. An article without one has not been revised since publication.
Corrections
When we find a factual error — or you tell us about one — we fix it and update the review date. We don't silently rewrite history on material corrections; where a correction changes the substance of the advice, we note it in the article.
If something here is wrong, tell us. Reader corrections are a real part of how this site stays accurate, not a formality.
Independence
Editorial content is independent of advertising and commercial relationships. Advertisers have no input into topics, rankings, or conclusions.
Affiliate links and advertising
We may use affiliate links (Zerodha, Groww, Kuvera and similar) and display advertising. Neither affects which products we recommend or how we rank them. Where a page carries affiliate links, that relationship doesn't change the recommendation — if a product is the wrong choice, we say so regardless of whether we'd earn anything.
What this site is not
We are not SEBI-registered investment advisers, and nothing here is personalised financial advice. We explain how things work and show the arithmetic so you can make your own decision. For advice specific to your situation, see a registered adviser. Our full disclaimer has the details.
